my vacation week, I made good use of garden work. Since yesterday the garden ready including Castle:


We have planted new crops (spindle tree, ornamental currant, magnolia), and scarify the lawn and fertilize:

The beautiful spring weather of recent days we have used. The bushes are pruned and planted for three new plants: a buttercup, Jonagold apple tree and a blood plum. From the garden fence
is a first piece painted white. The rest of the fence within the next few weeks. The garden gate is now also attached - the gate of the month, so to speak ;-)


However, still missing a post between the hut and gates to close it can be.

hurricane Xynthia

swept two weeks ago, Hurricane Xynthia about our house. Unlike our neighbors are still with us all the tiles on the roof. Something wrong some of them were then but still:


but this is now fixed.
Our garden shed survived the storm almost unscathed. Nevertheless, I have reinforced walls and roof now with some angles. It has moved an inch. It was no mistake to give up a solid concrete.
